About Dr. Asha Gipson (Addison)

My Approach
I am an organizational psychologist and senior leadership advisor who operates at the intersection of leadership, organizational design, and change execution. I partner with executive teams to design and scale leadership, talent, and organizational systems during growth, transition, and transformation.
I have a Ph.D. in Social–Organizational Psychology and have spent over a decade working across research, teaching, consulting, and applied leadership development. In addition to my internal and advisory leadership work, I have founded and scaled mission-driven organizations, including a global e-commerce brand. This experience sharpened my ability to operate across strategy, execution, and people systems.
I am now seeking a senior internal leadership role where I can apply this work at scale—partnering closely with executive teams to design and sustain leadership systems, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness from the inside. I am most effective when accountable for outcomes inside an organization—not just advising, but owning design, implementation, and follow-through.

My background spans enterprise organizational leadership, applied research, and executive-level advisory work across private, public, nonprofit, and global organizations.
- Peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in leadership and organizational change
- Co-editing scholarly volumes on organizational change and leadership thinkers
- Teaching industrial–organizational psychology, group dynamics, and leadership at the collegiate and graduate levels
- Applied work across private, public, and nonprofit sectors, including global and cross-functional teams
I’ve held academic and practitioner roles through institutions such as Teachers College, Columbia University, and through domestic and international partnerships, bringing depth and discernment into every engagement. My work is informed by ongoing scholarship in leadership, organizational change, and systems thinking.

I am currently exploring senior internal leadership roles where I can apply this work at scale as part of an executive or people leadership team.
